Pole Barn Donation & Market Place – 2000

Originally used for an educational, interactive livestock area, this barn was moved in 2003 to the south end of the fairgrounds.  Currently, it hosts the Market Place, a celebration of local foods, where the fairgoer experiences premium wines, olive oil sampling and chef demonstrations. This structure hosts commercial exhibitors with a western flare during the annual fair.  In the interim it has served as a show ring for the Cal Poly Western Bonanza junior livestock show and to house horse stalls for the various equestrian events. Cost: $648,990
