New Barn Construction Underway!

Pole Barn Donation & Market Place – 2000
Originally used for an educational, interactive livestock area, this barn was moved in 2003 to the south end of the fairgrounds. Currently, it hosts the Market Place, a celebration of local foods, where the fairgoer experiences premium wines, olive oil sampling and chef demonstrations. Cost: $36,619
Equipment – On-going
The CMSFHF has contributed numerous pieces of equipment to the betterment of the facility. This Case tractor is just one example. Other pieces include a water truck, mules, forklift and tractor implements. Cost: $38,500
Commercial Building #3 – 2007
This structure hosts commercial exhibitors with a western flare during the annual fair. In the interim it has served as a show ring for the Cal Poly Western Bonanza junior livestock show and to house horse stalls for the various equestrian events. Cost: $648,990
Section 8 Grandstand – 2007
Completed in conjunction with the Heritage Building, this section of bleachers feature 480 seats. Regular membership tickets are located in this section with the remaining seats being sold to the general public through the fair box office. Cost: $400,870
Heritage Foundation Building – 2007
The newest addition to the fairgrounds, this structure features two concession stands, a VIP suite, premium deck seating to the concert venue, and is home to the CMSFHF office. Cost: $1,281,664

With many of the junior livestock exhibitors staying at the local hotels located across the street from the fairgrounds, there had always been a concern for child safety when crossing the busy street. Each year the CMSFHF pays for the city to install a crosswalk and for on-ground security to supervise. Cost: $7800 /year
